Maelgwyn House was originally built as a manse for the Reverend
David Davis in 1907 who had bought the land from the Right
Honourable Henry Stormont, Earl of Winchlesea for £200
when it became, once more a private dwelling .Situated above
a scenic viewpoint at the edge of Harlech village, Maelgwyn
commands stunning views of the Llyn Peninsula and Tremadog
Bay,
The
Dwyryd estuary, Morfa Harlech a National Nature Reserve, Harlech
Castle and the Royal saint David’s golf course. Maelgwyn
House is ideally situated for exploring Snowdonia National
Park, the Rhinog Mountains and the Llyn Peninsula, Porthmadog
and Portmeirion.We offer choice of king size or twin bedded
rooms. All rooms are en-suite and have colour TV and tea and
coffee making facilities.All of our rooms have recently been
refurbished to a high Standard. The two king-sized rooms at
the front of the house offer spectacular views across the
garden to the surrounding hills
