Llandanwg

Llandanwg is a small hamlet on the water's edge. The beach is smaller and more intimate than Harlech beach, yet commands the same fine views. The Llyn Peninsular and the mountains of Snowdonia form a backdrop to the side - a wonderful sight with the sun setting into the water. If you are lucky, dolphins and porpoises can be sighted in the bay.
Behind the beach is a National Trust field and a small church, St. Tanwg's, which dates back to the 13th Century, although there was a place of worship here as early as the 5th Century. It is open for services at least once a month in summer but during July/august, it is open daily for people to enjoy it's beautiful interior.
