Madeleine Smith would like to invite you to join her and her staff in a quiet drink and some good food in a very pleasant location.
Whether you require a sandwich, light lunch or a full 3 course meal we have something to offer everyone.
We are fully licensed with two dining rooms - smoking and non smoking. Children are welcome.

We are situated in the Castle Square in Upper Harlech directly opposite the Castle. We are lucky to have amazing views from the stunning Snowdonia Mountain range to the Royal St David's golf course and the vast expanse of Harlech beach.

The Restaurant as it is now was built on the foundations of the former Shire and Town Hall of Harlech. Some of the original walls still exist, Dating back to the thirteen century. The stone building retains much of its "medieval ambience", especially in the Old Shire Hall banquet room upstairs which is ideal for party's and functions as well as private dining.

We specialize in Welsh food - some traditional, some 'dishes with a difference'.
